Lavender Wings Heart Shaker Bead | Three Supplies, One Dreamy Design

Design #3 of 5 brings together lavender buds, dragonflies, soft pastel leaves, and plenty of sparkle for a dreamy Heart Shaker Bead.

For the third design in my five-part Heart Shaker series, I wanted something softer and more whimsical. Lavender Wings starts with the Lavender Wings design from the Charmie Designer Mix Box, then pairs it with the Dreamscape Sugar Rhinestone Palette and lavender Creation Tape to bring the entire look together.

Start With the Feeling of the Collection

The Lavender Wings mix already gives us a direction: lavender buds, dragonflies, and soft pastel leaves. Instead of treating those as individual embellishments, I used them as the color and style guide for the entire bead.

The Dreamscape Sugar Rhinestone Palette adds sparkle without taking the design away from the softer pastel theme. Then the lavender Creation Tape closes out the bead while keeping the color story consistent from the inside of the shaker to the outside.

Three Supplies Can Become a Collection

This is exactly what I mean when I talk about Collection Crafting. You do not have to start by deciding that you need ten completely different products. Start with one strong design and ask what else belongs in its world.

Lavender Wings could easily become the starting point for coordinating pens, keychains, wristlets, notebook accessories, gifts, or an entire pastel spring collection. The dragonflies could become a repeating element. The lavender and soft greens could become your collection colors. The rhinestones can carry the sparkle into the rest of your pieces.

That is how you move from making one pretty bead to designing a collection customers can recognize, coordinate, gift, and collect.
